The catalog does not yet store verified license evidence per configuration. Provider-wide open/closed labels and derived category rankings are withheld until that mapping is reviewed.

Read the exact release terms

Access to downloadable weights alone does not establish Open Source AI under the Open Source Initiative's definition. Inspect the release's terms, code and supporting information rather than treating every model from one lab as the same.

Keep model-level evidence

Model cards can contain license metadata, intended uses, limitations and evaluation information. Follow the card for the exact revision and inspect the referenced license; a catalog label is not permission to deploy.

Compare hosting separately

API access and self-hosting have different operational costs and responsibilities. Catalog token rates do not include accelerator capacity, maintenance, security review or support. Do not treat a general benchmark as a deployment approval.
